The burnt house

A fetish priest in the Ashanti Region of Ghana has allegedly shot a taxi driver to death.

The suspect named Collins Asamoah carried out the alleged killing at Ntoraku, near Adansi Fomena in the Ashanti Region, a police statement indicated.

Due to the killing, a 3-bedroom house belonging to the fetish priest, has reportedly been burnt by angry youth in the area.

African Entertainment understands that the youth went on a rampage after hearing that the suspect shot and killed the taxi driver Kwadwo Antwi, age 28.

The Police statement revealed that the victim had parked his taxi at the Nkroaku township waiting for passengers. The deceased had sat about 37 feet from the ‘killer’ fetish priest who was adjusting his folded gun at the time.

The statement added that “That force was applied by the suspect in adjusting the gun which had ammunition and its muzzle facing the deceased accidentally discharged hitting the left side of the chest. Deceased was rushed to Benito Mani Hospital by witnesses together with the suspect but died whilst on admission”.
